M.Sc. in Chemistry 1972 (School of postgraduate Studies, University of Montreal, Canada). Ph.D. in Chemistry 1975 (School of postgraduate Studies, University of Montreal, Canada).
Research Interests Study of metalloenzymes models such as thiamine, using spectroscopic methods (IR-Raman, Uv-Vis, Multinuclear NMR, Mossbauer, electrochemistry).and crystallography .Metal-based drugs based on Pt(II), Ru(II), Sn(IV).Mechanism of action of antithyroid drugs Interaction of metals with oligonucleotides and DNA Metal-aminoacids or peptides interactions. Biomimetic catalysis.
