In the context of the ISCAR 2019 International Conference, the region of South and Central Europe and Middle East of the International Society for Cultural-Historical and Activity Research (ISCAR) (http://www.iscar.info/), the Department of Early Childhood Education of the School of Education of the University of Ioannina and the Department of Psychology of the School of Social Sciences of the University of Crete, are happy to announce the organization of the International PhD Day.
The PhD Day is a “safe zone” for the young researchers and the PhD Students to present their thesis and get feedback from the experts.
The PhD Day program break down is:
9:00 – 9:45 Intro remarks/History of ISCAR PhD Days and Summer Universities/Cultural Historical Activity Theory (CHAT) generations/”My PhD thesis in CHAT”
9:45 – 12:00 Student presentations in two groups [10 minutes presentation of each student and 5 minutes questions and comments]
12:00 – 13:15 Lunch/Workshops like a «world cafe»/open discussion on shared problems
13:15 – 14:15 Theoretical and Methodological Challenges
14:15 – 15:00 Closing
